NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Dolly Parton has announced a second concert shortly after tickets to her upcoming concert at the Ryman Auditorium sold out.
The country legend is scheduled to perform her first show in Nashville in 12 years on July 31. Her newly announced second performance will be held on August 1.
Tickets will go on sale Thursday, July 2 at 10:00 a.m.
The shows will benefit the Dustin Wells Foundation at the W.O. Smith School of Music and the Opry Trust Fund.
Officials at the Ryman Auditorium said her previous sold out show ranks among the fastest in the Mother Church of country music’s history.
