NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Nashville United Soccer Academy hosted a unique soccer camp on the campus of Vanderbilt University this week.
Its goal is to introduce soccer to children who normally wouldn’t have a chance to play the sport.
The camp uses coaches who are former professional players from across Europe for their unique teaching styles.
“Our club’s focus is all about individual player development. We are player-focused, player-centered and teams are sort of a by-product of putting those players together,” said Robbie Stewart, Director of Coaching.
Around 50 kids participated in the camp.
