NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – From conviction to release, it’s been a long road in the Vanderbilt University rape case.

Brandon Vandenburg and Cory Batey were both convicted of all charges against them in the 2013 rape of a female student, but the case was declared a mistrial this week, allowing them to be released from jail on bond.
