Fort Knox soldier hit, killed in Clarksville accident

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 25-year-old soldier from Fort Knox was hit and killed in an accident in Clarksville early Tuesday morning.

According to police, Kenneth Berry was in the southbound lanes of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard when he was struck around 12:30 a.m.

Police said the driver of the Nissan Pathfinder who struck him said they attempted to avoid striking the man.

Berry was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville was he was pronounced dead.

Berry was in Fort Campbell temporarily for training.
