The 28-year-old waived extradition Monday in a Kentucky court room, leading to his return to Tennessee.

He’s accused of abusing his child in a Westmoreland home, about 50 miles northeast of Nashville, on April 30. The baby boy died a few days later and Thacker fled to Kentucky.

His charges include first-degree murder and child abuse.

Thacker is being held without bond. He’s due in court June 26 at 9 a.m.
