ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. (WJHL) – Elizabethton police in east Tennessee want to track down and arrest a woman accused of raping a child.
Police said two juveniles being interviewed by investigators in a separate case last March provided details of two separate sexual encounters at a home in Elizabethton sometime during 2012 and 2013.
Police said the children gave officers statements about sexual contact between Amber Ray, 25, Johnson City, and a child under the age of 13.
Last month, a Carter County grand jury indicted Ray on criminal charges including rape of a child.
Now police want to find her, and they think she’s still in the Tri-Cities.
If you know where police can find Ray, call Elizabethton police at 423-542-4141 or the Crime Stoppers Tips Line at 423-542-7574.
