NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Monday will be a busy travel day at Nashville International Airport after two large music festivals ended Sunday night.
Bonnaroo and CMA Music Festival both wrapped up their multiple day festivals that brought thousands of people to Middle Tennessee over the weekend.
Nashville International typically has 15,000-18,000 travelers pass through the airport every day during the summer, but Monday will see many more.
The airport recommends passengers arrive at least two hours before their flight, leaving time to check bags and go through security.
Certain items are not allowed in bags being carried on the plane, but can be brought on through checked bags. Click here for a link of prohibited items by the Transportation Security Administration.
