WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – Authorities in Wilson County have arrested two men in connection to a string of church burglaries.
Trevon Lawson, 26, and Giles Timbs, 25, were taken into police custody early Saturday.
The pair were arrested during a traffic stop shortly after they were spotted leaving Hunters Point Celebration Center in Lebanon.
At the time of their arrest, police said a cash register, reportedly taken from the church, was discovered in their vehicle.
Lawson and Timbs are each charged with one count of burglary each. Their bonds are set at $7,500 each.
Both men are due in court Aug. 5.
Police said the pair is suspected in other recent church burglaries.
