ANDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man from Andersonville, Tennessee, was arrested Wednesday and accused of shooting his girlfriend’s mother to death.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation began investigating the death of 66-year-old Karen Zahrobsky on June 10.
The victim’s daughter called 911 to report a disturbance with her boyfriend on Lone Mountain Road in Andersonville and indicated her mom was hurt.
When authorities arrived, Zahrobsky was found dead from a gunshot wound.
The investigation led agents to her daughter’s boyfriend, James McMillan, who was arrested Wednesday.
The 48-year-old was charged with one count of first degree murder, one count of voluntary manslaughter and one count of aggravated assault.
He was booked into the Anderson County jail where he’s being held on $625,000 bond.
