FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) – The man wanted for allegedly violently assaulting his mother was surrendered to Franklin police Thursday.
Denzel Ware was wanted by authorities for the assault police say occurred Monday evening on Chestnut Lane.
According to a release, Ware reportedly punched his mother before pulling her hair and going outside where he fired a gun in the air.
He then, according to police, went back inside the home and attacked his mother for a second time.
Ware was booked into the Williamson County jail and is being held without bond.
He is due in court June 25 at 1 p.m.
