Woman shot through door of home in Clarksville; Suspect identified

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Someone shot through a home’s door in Clarksville Monday night, striking a woman in the back.

Clarksville police said it happened in the 400 block of Cranklen Circle at 8:15 p.m.

Authorities reported the victim was transported to Skyline Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives secured a warrant for 31-year-old Michael Flippen Jr. for attempted criminal homicide and reckless endangerment, according to Clarksville police spokeswoman Natalie Hall.

Flippen reportedly fled the scene in a red 1995 Toyota T-100 truck.
