Gallatin police looking for suspect who used counterfeit bills to buy PlayStation

GALLATIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — Gallatin police are attempting to identify and locate a suspect wanted in connection to a counterfeit transaction.

The suspect met the victims in the parking lot at Walmart on June 6, 2015, to purchase a PlayStation IV.

Police say the suspect paid the victims using counterfeit $100 bills.

He is described as a black male, about 6 feet to 6 feet 1 inch tall with short hair and minimal facial hair. He was driving a 2010 to 2015 maroon Chevrolet Camaro. One digit in the tag number is an “X.”

Anyone with information related to any other crimes that have occurred in Gallatin are asked to contact Investigator Emily Renz at the Gallatin Police Department at 615-452-1313.
