City decides to vacate Seven Pillars Ministry boarding home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The city of Nashville has made a decision regarding the Seven Pillars Ministry boarding home.

According to the Nashville Fire Department, everyone currently in the home must be out by 5 p.m. Monday, and dozens of people could become homeless.

Metro Codes and the fire department found several problems at this facility on Bell Road in south Nashville last week.

The home, which is an old retrofitted storage unit and cabinetry business, was operating without a proper permit. The city found multiple code violations upon inspections.

Tenants tell News 2 they pay to stay there, but Seven Pillars leases the space.
