CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man is now wanted for attempted criminal homicide in the Summit Heights shooting that happened on May 22 in Clarksville.
Darcell Wright, 21, is accused of firing shots in to an SUV driven by 23-year-old Dshawn Blount with his two children inside at the time.
Blount was injured and sent to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he remained in stable condition at last check. His 11-month-old baby and 8-year-old boy were not harmed.
The Clarksville Police Department is requesting the help of citizens to find Wright. He is a 6-foot black male and weighs 200 pounds.
According to police, it is possible Wright is driving a Chevy Malibu with Virginia tags.
Police say Wright is considered armed and dangerous and are asking anyone with information to contact Detective Bradley at 931-648-0656, ext 5159.
