Burglars steal cases of cigarettes from south Nashville store

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police are searching for two suspects who stole several thousands of dollars worth of cigarettes from a south Nashville convenience store Thursday morning.

It happened at the Shell station located at 1631 Elm Hill Pike around 1 a.m.

Police told News 2 two men broke into the store by smashing the glass door.

Once inside, the men ran behind the counter where they took several cases of cigarettes.

The cigarettes were valued at nearly $3,000.

The burglary was completed in less than 30 seconds.

The suspects were wearing black shirts and masks over their faces. They fled the scene in a blue pickup truck.
