McMINNVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A McMinnville business owner has pleaded guilty to tax evasion.

Mitesh Khokani was indicted by a Warren County grand jury last October on 21 counts of sales tax evasion and one felony count of theft of property over $10,000.

According to authorities, Khokani reportedly failed to remit more than $74,000 in sales taxes collected from customers of M and M Sparta Smoke, LLC, from April 2010 through December 2011.
