Man pinned inside Jeep after crash in Sumner County

BETHPAGE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was pinned inside a vehicle after a rollover crash in Sumner County early Thursday morning.

It happened on Rock Springs Road around 3 a.m.

Police told News 2 a man and a woman were traveling down the road when their Jeep left the roadway and came to rest upside down in a cluster of trees.

The woman was able to escape the wreck and walk to a nearby house for assistance.

Once emergency responders arrived to the scene, it took nearly 30 minutes to locate the vehicle due to the dense wooded area.

Authorities extricated the man from the vehicle. He sustained non-life threatening injuries.

No additional information was released.
