FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) – Franklin police are still searching for the owner of a platinum diamond ring that a good Samaritan found last Wednesday in a parking lot.
Sgt. Charles Warner tweeted that the ring was turned in after it was discovered in the Williamson Square parking lot.
The ring is said to be valued at more than $15,000 and features a large center stone surrounded by smaller diamonds. Police said the ring has something distinctive on it that only the owner would be able to identify.
“We need to find them because we are sure they are missing this ring.” Sgt. Charles Warner said. “There’s someone definitely missing this ring.”
Anyone with information on who the ring may belong to is asked to call Franklin police at 615-794-2513.
