NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation obtained indictments against a Houston County woman accused of fraudulently obtaining prescription medication.
The TBI began investigating Sherry Paffrath nearly a year ago on July 31, 2014.
During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that during a six month time period, between January 2014 through June 2014, Paffrath reportedly ordered large quantities of prescription drugs from a pharmaceutical company using the DEA license number of her co-worker, who is a dentist.
The purchases occurred without the dentist’s knowledge.
Paffrath, 47, faces 15 counts of fraudulently obtaining prescription drugs.
She was booked in to the Houston County jail Sunday on a $75,000 bond.
