Williamson Co. Memorial Day ceremony honors fallen service members

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRM) — The Louise Lynch Archives and Museum was packed full of people honoring the men and women who have lost their lives defending our country.

The annual Williamson County Memorial Day Ceremony started with a presentation of colors, a prayer, the pledge and national anthem.

Flags were lowered to half-staff before a wreath-laying ceremony, and veterans who have been added to the Memorial Walkway at West Main and 7th Avenue South were recognized.

The service ended with Army 5th Special Forces Group firing detail before the colors were retired.
