Marcus Mariota makes debut at Titans minicamp

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Tennessee’s new quarterback Marcus Mariota has made his debut at Titans minicamp.

The Heisman Trophy winner, the franchise’s first since Eddie George, was drafted second overall by the Titans and has the weight of the city on his back to help turn the team that went 2-14 last season.

On Friday, 61 players were in attendance, in addition to 37 members of the media.

Head coach Ken Whisenhunt has expressed the Titans will incorporate some of Mariota’s unique abilities and plays he’s been successful with in the past while getting him up to speed in the NFL.
