NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The law licenses of two Montgomery County attorneys have been suspended days after they were found guilty of extortion.
A formal hearing will be held to determine how long Fletcher Long and Carrie Gasaway’s license suspensions will last.
The pair was charged in March 2014 following a two-year investigation into allegations they tried to force a client to pay them $50,000 for services.
The case went to trial last week and the jury delivered their verdict Tuesday.
Long is convicted Vanderbilt rapist Brandon Vanderburg’s former attorney.
He’s also the attorney for Jason Autry, one of the men charged in the high-profile Holly Bobo case.
