State Representative accused of DUI to appear in court

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A state representative accused of driving under the influence is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.

Representative Bill Beck was arrested April 17 after being pulled over on Woodland Street for suspicion of driving drunk.

Beck was charged with DUI and violating the state’s implied consent law.

He has promised to vigorously contest the charges against him.
