HERMITAGE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A young mother was shocked when a stranger walked into her apartment in Hermitage Wednesday morning.

It happened at the Hermitage Park Apartments around 11:30 a.m.

Police told News 2 the woman was inside her residence with her child when she heard her front door open. She initially thought it was her husband entering the home, but it turned out to be a stranger. She suffered minor injuries during the confrontation with the home invader.
