Habitat for Humanity to dedicate 5 homes to families

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – This week, Habitat for Humanity will dedicate five homes to families to close out its new home-build season.

There will be four homes dedicated Friday and one on Sunday.

Ahmed Mohamed and Shemsia Beshire from Nazreth, Ethiopia, are on the list of families receiving a home Friday.

The couple has two children, an 8-year-old son Ammar and 4-year-old daughter Shemsia.

On Sunday, Nejmeddine and Hayet Khalfaoui will receive their new home. They are from the city of Sers in Tunisia, located on the North African coast.

Nejmeddine hopes to finish his bachelor’s degree and secure a stable office job.

Habitat of Greater Nashville will also begin construction on four more homes starting May 30.
