NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Three middle school students were charged Thursday with stealing a Metro school bus late last month.
According to police, a 13-year-old along with two 14-year-olds took the bus from Pearl Cohn Magnet High School on April 25 and drove it around for about an hour.
While on their joyride, the teens hit a utility pole causing damage to the passenger’s side door.
The teens were identified after reviewing video from the surveillance system on the bus, but their identities will not be released due to their age.
Metro police reported a second bus was taken the same morning from McKissack Middle School, but the suspects disabled the surveillance cameras.
Anyone with information in that case should contact Metro police at 615-862-8600 or Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.
