Greenbrier schools help promote seatbelt safety

Children from Greenbrier schools participated in a contest conducted by the local police department to promote seatbelt safety.

GREENBRIER, Tenn. (WKRN) – Children from Greenbrier Public Schools participated in a contest conducted by the local police department to promote seatbelt safety.

Each school made posters to promote the Seatbelts are for Everyone, or S.A.F.E., campaign and presented them to the Greenbrier City Council.

The council chose two posters from each school to be displayed.

Two students from each of the Greenbrier schools were represented, including elementary, middle and high school.

Mayor Bonnette Dawson presented $100 to each school that participated.
