Man accused of vandalizing businesses that refused him service

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was arrested Saturday afternoon for allegedly vandalizing four Somali businesses in south Nashville.

It happened in the 1000 block of Murfreesboro Pike.

According to an affidavit, Abdi Jama, 37, was upset that the businesses would not serve him food or tea.

Jama reportedly broke windows of the businesses using a rock or piece of asphalt.

Witnesses were able to lead police to the suspect who was still in the parking lot of one of the businesses.

Jama was booked into the Metro jail and charged with two counts of vandalism. His bond was set at $7,000.
