NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Southern Women’s Show opened Thursday at the Music City Center.
The four-day festival of food, fun and fashion always attracts a big crowd. Thursday was no different.
Shoppers enjoyed hundreds of booths that offer everything for cooking demonstrations to makeup sessions to free haircuts.
Betsy Ferg of Franklin took the opportunity to showcase her business, Jewelry Bee, which offers custom jewelry.
“We have a whole bunch of charms that are repurposed, handmade, made in America. You pick your charms, then you pick a chain and we design and build you a custom necklace,” said Ferg.
Charis Fry was among a group of students in the cosmetology program at White House High School who came to the Southern Women’s Show as part of a field trip Thursday.
“It’s a great opportunity to come with your mom or grandma. There’s a lot to see here, lots of jewelry, it’s really cool,” Fry told News 2.
There are new exhibitors with plenty of discounts, specials and giveaways. Find out more on their website.
