Severe weather threat lowered for Middle Tennessee

Saturday radar

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Breezy and very warm conditions will continue into the evening Saturday across Middle Tennessee.

The threat of severe thunderstorms has lessened, but a few strong storms may still cross the border from Kentucky into some of the northern tier counties of Tennessee, mainly north and east of Nashville later in the evening.

There is still the chance of hail and gusty wind with any of these storms.

After Midnight a cold front will pass through the area cooling the temperatures back into the 50s with a few passing showers. Lows late Saturday night will be in the mid to upper 50s.

Sunday will be mainly cloudy and cool with a few sprinkles and highs only in the mid to upper 60s.
