GARLAND, Texas (WKRN) – Country trio Lady Antebellum’s bus caught on fire Thursday morning.
The band’s Hillary Scott posted a photo of the damaged bus on her Instagram page writing, “We had a crazy morning on the way to Dallas today.”
At the time of the fire, Hillary, her husband, the group’s tour manager and driver were all on-board. They were all able to escape without harm.
According to the Associated Press, the fire started after the bus blew a tire on Interstate 30, just east of Dallas.
“Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe. Love you all” Hillary continued in her post.
One Facebook she wrote, ” I just got this picture from the scene of the fire and HAD to share this. Today, when our bus caught on fire we had quite a few personal belongings in the back (where I was asleep before evacuating the bus) one of them being my Bible. I kid you not, EVERYTHING in the back lounge was destroyed from the flames, except my Bible. The outside cover was burned and messed up but NOT ONE PAGE was missing.”
