ALHAMBRA, Calif. (WKRN) – Several California police officers purchased clothes for a homeless man who was without pants Wednesday.

According to the Alhambra Police Department’s Facebook page, they received a call from a concerned citizen around 4:30 p.m. regarding the man.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of South Marguerita Avenue where they found the middle-aged man without pants on.

The transient stated he was going through a rough time on the streets and that he was going to go to a mission to ask for some clothing.

The responding officers took matters into their own hands and went to a nearby Target store where they purchased two pairs of pants and some shorts for the man with their own money.

Police are following up with the man to ensure he receives any additional help.
