NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man who was arrested for buying drugs while at work in Mt. Juliet last Tuesday was arrested again, only two days later, at a Hermitage hotel.
According to an affidavit, officers went to serve a warrant for Dennis Caruthers Thursday afternoon, and found him in the parking of the Suburban Extended Stay Hotel on Central Pike with his girlfriend Amanda Fajkus.
He was taken into custody for a probation violation.
Officers knew Caruthers, who just turned 30, had been arrested on drug charges in Mt. Juliet on April 7 while working at the Burger King on Lebanon Road, the report stated.
During surveillance, they were also able to determine what room Caruthers and Fajkus were staying in. She reportedly gave them permission to search the room after admitting, in writing, that she had a marijuana grinder inside.
Officers found marijuana, cocaine and drug paraphernalia inside.
The reported stated that Fajkus also told officers that Caruthers sells marijuana and cocaine.
He was charged with three drug offenses, which included one felony.
His bond was set at $65,000.
