NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – An Ashland City man is jailed on multiple charges including especially aggravated kidnapping and aggravated rape.
Authorities began investigating Bobby Blaylock earlier this month on April 3.
During the course of their investigation, agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation determined that earlier in the day, Blaylock was with his alleged victim at an Ashland City park.
Agents said Blaylock, 39, restrained the victim before he reportedly physically and sexually assaulted her multiple times in the back of her vehicle.
It was also determined during the investigation that Blaylock left the alleged victim in the woods before stealing her car.
The unidentified woman fled to a nearby home where she was able to seek help.
Blaylock was placed on the TBI’s Most Wanted list and was taken into custody on April 4 in Nashville.
In addition to the kidnapping and rape charges, Blaylock is also charged with vehicle theft, driving without a license and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is being held in lieu of $1 million bond.
