6 deer run to death by dogs at Alabama park

GADSDEN, Ala. (AP) – Authorities believe six deer at an Alabama park were run to death when dogs got into the animals’ enclosure.

A police report estimates the deer died at Noccalula Falls Park between 5 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday according to AL.com.

Officials say they believe two dogs got into the area and chased the deer until they died.

Two deer escaped. One dog was captured, while the other escaped.
