NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Nashville Predators didn’t have to wait long Saturday to find out who they’d be facing in the first round of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The St. Louis Blues beat the Minnesota Wild 4-2 securing the Blackhawks the third spot in the Central Division to feature an opening playoff series against the Preds.
They could enter their series with the Blackhawks on a six game losing streak if they fail to beat Dallas Saturday night in the season finale.
During the regular season, Nashville is 1-3 against Chicago and the last time they played was Dec. 29, 2014.
Since the Predators finished second in the Division ahead of Chicago, they have home ice advantage and will play the first two games at Bridgestone Arena.
