DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – Forty-eight pounds of cocaine were seized during a traffic stop on a commercial vehicle on Interstate 40 Wednesday.
It happened in Dickson County near mile marker 175, not far from State Route 840.
Authorities told News 2 the cocaine, which had a street value of $720,000, was being delivered to the Nashville area.
Two suspects were arrested on drug charges, 25-year-old Johnny Manzo Jr. and 22-year-old Jorge Hernandez.
Manzo’s bond was set to $105,000 and Hernandez’s to $100,000. Officials said Mazo’s additional $5,000 was for destruction of evidence.
Both are being held in the Dickson County jail.
