According to the Cheatham County Sheriff, Bobby Blaylock was taken into custody by Metro police in Nashville Saturday after he was spotted.

Sheriff Breedlove reported Blaylock was apprehended after a chase.

Cheatham County officers assisted TBI agents Friday night in the search for Blaylock.

Authorities said Bobby Blaylock physically and sexually assaulted a victim multiple times on Thursday before fleeing in a stolen 1997 green Ford Expedition.

Sheriff Mike Breedlove released the following statement on his Facebook page about the capture of Blaylock:

“TBI Agent Joey Boyd was requested to lead the investigation as it turned into a multi-county and state investigation. Agent Boyd and Detective Ken Miller will be in Nashville processing the victim’s stolen vehicle. All agencies did an amazing job working throughout the night getting this dangerous criminal off the street!”
