NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Nate Washington will play an 11th NFL season, but he will do it for the Houston Texans.
After completing a 6-year contract with the Tennessee Titans Washington signed with the AFC South rival Texans Wednesday.
The deal is reportedly for $1 million and one year.
Washington has been a big play threat his entire NFL career, averaging 15.3 yards per reception. He heads to Houston with 411 career receptions for 6,296 yards and 40 touchdowns.
His best season in Nashville came in 2011 when he caught 74 passes for 1,023 yards and seven touchdowns. It is the only 1,000-yard season of his career.
Washington joined the Titans in 2007, signing a 6-year, $26.8 million deal.
