NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 19-year-old girl and gang member was caught just hours after being added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s “Top Ten Most Wanted” list.
Desiree Hester was arrested at an apartment in the 600 block of South Seventh Street in east Nashville after TBI agents developed information on her whereabouts.
Hester, 19, was wanted by both the TBI and Chattanooga Police Department on charges of aggravated assault and carjacking.
Authorities previously reported Hester, Tyrell Flenoy, and three other females were being pursued by the Georgia State Police into Chattanooga when Hester and Flenoy fled their vehicle.
Officials say Hester then carjacked someone before hitting them with the car and fleeing.
Flenoy remains at large and is wanted out of both Georgia on multiple felonies and Nashville for a felony probation violation stemming from a previous attempted robbery conviction.
He is described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds.
Hester was booked into Metro jail where she will be placed on hold until she is transferred to Hamilton County.
