NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The 23-year-old man accused of shooting a little boy in east Nashville last week was taken into custody Tuesday.
Jamar Medaries was arrested by U.S. Marshals in the 900 block of Hickory Hollow Terrace in Antioch.
Medaries is accused of opening fire on a duplex on Fern Avenue on March 22. Stay bullets struck Keon Malone, the 11-year-old boy who lived next door.
He has been charged with attempted criminal homicide. His bond amount was not immediately known.
Another woman wanted in connection to the shooting, Alexandria Taliaferro, turned herself in to Metro police Monday.
She was wanted on charges of reckless child endangerment and felon in possession of a weapon for allegedly fired two shots into the ground during the argument that led to the shooting. Click here for photos of the scene.
Taliaferro is being held in lieu of $50,000 bond.
The 11-year-old remains in critical condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
