NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man and woman were arrested Monday afternoon in Antioch after police saw children involved in possible drug deals.
According to an affidavit, detectives conducted a search warrant at a home in the 3000 block of Hamilton Church Road.
There was no one at the house at the time, but an affidavit stated detectives found 145.5 grams of marijuana, 30 grams of mushrooms, two small baggies that field tested positive for cocaine, and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.
Detectives carrying out surveillance on the home had seen Curtis Story participate in hand-to-hand exchanges with multiple people.
Three children playing outside the residence were seen escorting people inside when they arrived, according to the report. They were listed as 9, 6, and 2 years old.
Detectives were also able to initiate a traffic stop with one of the people who made an exchange with Story and reportedly found marijuana on his person.
The children’s parents Story, 33, and Alisha Brown reportedly arrived at the home while it was being searched.
Brown, 28, admitted to detectives that everything inside the home was hers.
Story and Brown were both taken into custody and face multiple drug and child endangerment charges.
Brown’s Bond was set at $315,000, while Story’s was set at $235,000.
