NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police are looking for a man they think may be on a smash-and-grab spree in the Bordeaux area.
Over the past month they have been investigating numerous burglaries in the area with a similar suspect description.
Early Wednesday morning, a black man wearing a white T-shirt with lettering on the front and back, blue jeans and a bandana covering his face smashed a door to a Dollar General on Clarksville Pike.
Police say he went inside and stole cigarettes.
As officers were headed to the scene they passed a man matching that description on a bicycle.
Before they could turn around he was gone but had dropped a bag full of the stolen items from the store.
Anyone with information on the crimes is urged to call Metro police or Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.
