Gunfire exchanged at Madison gas station

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police are searching for two cars following a shootout at a Madison-area gas station.

Investigators told News 2 shots were fired at the Twice Daily located on Dickerson Pike at Old Hickory Boulevard just after 6 p.m. Tuesday.

No one was hit by the gunfire.

Officers are searching for two cars, a Toyota Camry and a Red Pontiac.

Metro police spokesperson Kristin Mumford told News 2 the shooting might’ve been domestic-related.

There was a woman and two children present at the time. Police have located the kids and they are fine.

The shooting was captured on surveillance video but police have not yet released that video.

The investigation is ongoing.
