NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two men were arrested early Sunday morning in east Nashville and charged with attempted aggravated robbery.
According to an affidavit, Jamario Walker and Jonathan Williams went to a home in the 1000 block of Douglas Avenue around 5:30 a.m. and forced their way inside when the victim opened the door.
Williams, 18, hit the victim in the head with a .38 revolver while Walker, 20, demanded money from him and two other men in the home, the report stated.
The victim and two other men reportedly fought back in self-defense.
Walker sustained three puncture wounds to his torso that needed medical attention.
Once the fight ended, the two other men, who had been in the home with the victim, left the scene.
Walker and Williams both allegedly told officers they had initiated the robbery attempt.
They were each charged with attempted aggravated robbery and their bonds were set at $100,000.
