COLUMBIA, Tenn. (WKRN) – Columbia police are investigating after a teenager was found shot dead Sunday afternoon not far from Spring Hill High School.
The 18-year-old, whose identity has not been released, was found by a passerby around 1:45 p.m. on the shoulder of Freeland Drive.
Authorities told News 2 he had been shot in the head. A gun was recovered nearby.
Columbia police said they are still investigating the incident as a homicide but are not looking for a suspect at this time.
