That’s why people like Rebecca Baillie will are trying to help. She is a treatment specialist with Addiction Campuses and will be taking service calls this weekend.

“It takes a lot of courage to face this,” explained Baillie. “Our clients feel alone and unloved every day of the year. A holiday like Valentines just expands it.”

Baillie listens, comforts, then tries to direct callers to an appropriate program.

“When people feel isolated and alone it’s just me and my bottle, Facebook… we really want them to reach out to call us. You don’t have to be alone,” said Baillie.

She went on to say to say Valentine’s Day is a good time to remember to be good to yourself.
