NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Repair work is set to begin Wednesday on a water main that ruptured on McGavock Pike last month.
The repair is expected to take at least two weeks to complete.
Officials said repairs will not affect water service to customers and traffic on McGavock Pike will be minimally affected.
Beginning Wednesday morning, the right-hand lane from McGavock Pike onto Elm Hill Pike will be closed to motorists. The McGavock Pike entrance to the Mapco station will also be closed to traffic.
Motorists will be able to turn onto Elm Hill Pike from the center lane of McGavock Pike.
Officers will be on site daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. during active construction.
Any customer who experiences water service problems should call 615-862-4600.
