NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – For the third time this season, Vanderbilt’s Riley LaChance has been named SEC Freshman of the Week.
LaChance averaged 17 points, 4.5 rebounds, and two steals in two Commodore victories last week against Florida and South Carolina.
With the third honor, LaChance ties John Jenkins (2009-10) and A.J. Ogilvy (2007-08) for the most Freshman of the Week awards by a Vanderbilt player.
LaChance also leads all freshman in scoring with 12.8 points per game.
Vanderbilt finishes a three-game home stand this Wednesday night when the Commodores host Tennessee at Memorial Gym.
