BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (WKRN) – The American Red Cross is hosting a special drive Monday in Williamson County for two-time cancer survivor Faith Grier.
Faith is only two years old and has received a number of blood and platelet donations from the Red Cross. Faith’s family said the transfusions played a vital role in her recovery from chemotherapy. Tests just last month revealed she is now cancer free.
Monday’s special blood drive is to show Middle Tennessee how giving blood can save a number of lives, including Faith’s.
The Red Cross is expecting a large turn out so they’ve set up more locations to give blood in honor of Faith.
